Manager, Financial Reporting - Physician Practice Clients

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; travel up to 10%.

Salary: $97,000–$145,000 base pay annually, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Review and deliver financial reports and key performance indicators for physician practice clients.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling.
• Provide technical accounting assistance to clients and internal engagement teams.
• Develop and coach staff and senior accountants while monitoring team KPIs.
• Collaborate with advisory teams and external partners to transition clients to higher-value services.
• Support client onboarding, system setup, process documentation, technology integration, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 4–6 years of public or private accounting experience and 3+ years managing associates or teams.
• Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations affecting financial reporting.
• Experience with billing, coding, collections, cost allocation, and physician compensation models in physician practices.
• Proficiency with Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, and Microsoft Office Suite, together with the ability to learn new technologies.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
