Assurance Manager

Location: Spokane, Washington, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $90,000–$133,040 per year in Spokane, WA; ranges are also listed for Seattle, WA and Portland, OR.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance and consulting services to clients.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges.
• Test internal controls, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, quality, timelines, staffing, billing, collections, and engagement profitability.
• Deliver financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and analytical insights.
• Mentor and develop associates while building internal, client, and community relationships.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• CPA certification.
• At least five years of experience.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience leading and supervising others, providing client service, and maintaining professional and ethical standards.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Five or more years of financial statement auditing experience in public accounting.
• PCAOB and SEC experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong software and Microsoft Suite skills.
