TL;DR
Onboarding & ODD Senior Specialist (Fintech): Managing complex KYB, KYC, EDD, and e-commerce underwriting cases for high-risk customers and layered ownership structures with an accent on risk-based decisions, financial analysis, and suspicious activity detection. Focus on investigating complex merchants and clients, evaluating source of funds and wealth, conducting periodic reviews, and escalating emerging risks to the MLRO.

What you will do

  • Analyze complex e-commerce merchants, including business models, financial records, exposure, reserves, deposits, and payment methods.
  • Make risk-based decisions on complex KYB onboarding cases involving high-risk jurisdictions, complex legal forms, and multi-layered UBO structures.
  • Conduct EDD investigations, post-account-opening checks, and complex periodic reviews for high-risk B2B and B2C clients.
  • Prepare MLRO escalation documentation and identify suspicious onboarding patterns and emerging risk trends.
  • Support audits and contribute feedback to improve AML/KYC/KYB policies, products, tools, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and mentor other Specialists.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of AML, KYC, or KYB experience.
  • Hands-on experience with complex KYB, EDD, and e-commerce underwriting.
  • Experience analyzing multi-layer UBO structures, high-risk jurisdictions and industries, source of funds, source of wealth, and adverse media.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and comfort working with ambiguity.
