Senior Security Engineer

Location: Paris, France. Hybrid work with office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility for focused work. English is the working language.

What you will do

• Drive continuous improvement of the security program across the product and company.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and technical security assessments for applications and infrastructure.
• Integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Build and scale vulnerability management, including vulnerability analysis, tracking, and remediation.
• Assess risks across internal systems, environments, assets, and data, and implement appropriate controls.
• Evaluate security tooling, develop customized tools, and contribute to compliance, incident response, and new security features.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of application security, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Experience building or improving a secure software development lifecycle program.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their security implications.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Interest in enabling secure internal use of AI tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, learning, and adaptability skills across technical and non-technical contexts.

Nice to have

• Interest in cryptography and its application in modern systems.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management frameworks and protocols such as Passkeys, SAML, OAuth, or SCIM.
