Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; the work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering some flexibility and remote-work support.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain system architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps environments that enable continuous delivery.
• Build and improve automated processes for building, packaging, testing, deploying, integrating, provisioning, and administering software.
• Automate build and deployment processes on AWS and proprietary cloud hosting environments, keeping configurations in source control.
• Support project teams with troubleshooting across development, testing, and production environments.
• Improve branching, code merging, versioning, and release engineering practices.
• Document systems and processes where applicable.

Requirements

• Senior-level DevOps experience across source control management, build and release, and continuous integration.
• Mandatory experience with DevOps, AWS, Unix/Linux, Windows, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
• Practical knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Nexus, VMware, web servers, and application servers.
• Knowledge of systems administration, architecture, databases, messaging middleware, and application deployment automation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, DevOps-related certifications or equivalent, and upper-intermediate English certification with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SVN, Ant, Maven, Sonar, Python, and relational or NoSQL data stores.
• Experience working across the boundary between development and operations.
