TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP): Building and operating highly available multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including an AWS-to-GCP migration, multi-region platforms, and self-service DevOps tooling with an accent on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, observability, security, and FinOps. Focus on designing resilient microservices infrastructure, optimizing cross-region network performance, operating ML platforms, and applying AI-assisted engineering to complex production systems.
Location: Hybrid in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with a 3-day in-office policy

What you will do
- Support and operate highly available AWS and GCP infrastructure with cost, performance, security, and interoperability in mind.
- Own workstreams in the AWS-to-GCP migration using managed services such as GKE, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Implement multi-region infrastructure for low-latency traffic management and disaster recovery.
- Modernize monolithic systems toward microservices and build reusable self-service platform tooling.
- Improve CI/CD, observability, SLI/SLO practices, on-call operations, incident response, and systemic post-mortems.
- Mentor engineers, collaborate with development and data teams, and use AI-assisted tools for infrastructure and operational work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Production expertise with Kubernetes, including cluster lifecycle management, scaling, resource optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing modular Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and building secure automated CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Production experience with GCP and/or AWS managed services; multi-cloud and multi-region experience is valuable.
- Experience with highly available systems, on-call operations, incident response, telemetry, observability, and SRE practices.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including technical writing, design documents, and live discussions.
Nice to have
- Experience operating service mesh solutions such as Istio or Linkerd in complex microservices environments.
- Experience tracing packet flow and optimizing latency across multi-cluster, multi-region networks and managed cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic tools such as Claude Code or OpenCode.
- Experience architecting and operating production ML platforms.
