Senior Application Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Define security models, requirements, and guardrails for emerging application architectures, including agentic applications, LLM-enabled products, protocol-driven tool use, and untrusted execution environments.
• Design, implement, and validate practical security controls for authentication, authorization, API security, zero-trust networking, workload protection, sandboxing, and runtime hardening.
• Shape how emerging systems manage agent identity, data access, tool permissions, workload isolation, and least-privilege authorization.
• Partner with product, platform, Infrastructure Security, and engineering teams to embed secure-by-default requirements from early design through production.
• Lead threat modeling and security assessments across evolving trust boundaries and interaction patterns.
• Drive remediation of emerging security risks and improve continuous security testing as architectures and threats evolve.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or development experience in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with security and/or infrastructure or platform engineering, distributed systems, application platforms, or agent-based architectures.
• Experience designing or implementing application-infrastructure security controls.
• Understanding of application security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques, including risks relevant to LLM applications and agentic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.
• Experience driving security initiatives with engineering and leadership stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Rust, or Python.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and protocols such as MCP or A2A.
