What you will do

• Maintain valid class and statutory certificates for marine vessels in compliance with IACS standards, IMO regulations, local legislation, and project requirements.
• Plan and coordinate dry-docking, repair, maintenance, class surveys, towing, HSE requirements, and third-party shipyard work.
• Conduct onboard inspections and prepare repair scopes, cost estimates, comparative statements, and equipment transfer reports.
• Maintain vessel drawings, specifications, inventories, certificates, and records for navigational, lifesaving, and firefighting equipment.
• Support vessel conversions and modifications, mobilization and demobilization surveys, and safe operation requirements.
• Conduct stability studies and ensure lifesaving and firefighting appliances comply with applicable safety plans, codes, and international conventions.

Requirements

• University degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Naval Architect.
• Experience with shipyard design and operations.
• Proficiency in ship design software and engineering tools, including AutoCAD.
• Senior-level position with a stated job level of 7–9 years.
