What you will do

• Analyse individual companies and equities within the Australian REITs sector.
• Publish research reports, initiate sales calls, and market investment opinions.
• Collaborate with the Regional Financial Sector team on industry projects, market shares, macro trends, cross-company analysis, and emerging business models.
• Monitor sector news flow, produce regular reports, and contribute to sector views and publications.
• Develop financial models and interpret market, economic, and political data.
• Build relationships with sales teams, traders, clients, and company management while coaching junior team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of equity research experience covering sectors related to REITs; buy-side or sell-side REIT experience is preferred.
• CA or CFA qualification and/or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or economics.
• Strong understanding of Australian REITs and the macroeconomy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong financial modelling skills and solid accounting and financial fundamentals.
• Analytical thinking, strong writing skills, responsiveness to changing situations, and client relationship management ability.
