Electrical Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead advanced supplier quality improvement, technical qualification, and cross-site projects for key components and materials.
• Analyze quality trends using SPC, Cpk, DOE, and other statistical methods to generate actionable insights.
• Drive supplier process control, root cause investigations, and validation of corrective actions.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in technical problem-solving, FMEA, and advanced supplier quality practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers on digital transformation, eQMS, dashboards, predictive tools, and AI-driven quality initiatives.
• Support NPI and localization programs through technical assessments and manufacturability reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electronic and semiconductor manufacturing processes, circuit design, and electrical failure analysis in PCBA and semiconductor environments.
• Knowledge of HDD processes and technology, HDD quality management, and electronic manufacturing.
• Fluent English communication, data analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, project management, and coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Experience with AI, digital analytics, and predictive quality.
