TL;DR
Professional Services Consultant (HR/Payroll) (ERP/HRIS): Implementing and supporting HR and Payroll solutions for government clients with an accent on requirements analysis, solution configuration, testing, training, and integration with financial management systems. Focus on translating public-sector processes into effective system solutions, coordinating UAT and knowledge transfer, and solving functional implementation challenges.
Location: San José, Costa Rica; on-site

What you will do
- Implement and deploy HR and Payroll solutions using the company’s ISO 9001:2015-certified methodology.
- Gather, document, and map client HR, Payroll, business, and statutory requirements.
- Configure and demonstrate employee management, compensation, benefits, allowances, deductions, and payroll calculations.
- Integrate HR and Payroll processes with financial management functions, including payroll accounting and General Ledger.
- Prepare test plans, conduct User Acceptance Testing, and deliver product, user, and Train-the-Trainer sessions.
- Coordinate with project managers and client stakeholders on deliverables, milestones, risks, issues, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of Information Systems experience, including 5 years implementing ERP, HRIS, or Payroll solutions.
- Strong functional knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and demonstrated experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, testing, deployment, and training.
- Experience integrating HR and Payroll with financial management functions, especially payroll accounting and General Ledger.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal Spanish and English required.

- Experience working with government or public-sector organizations.
- Knowledge of public-sector HR, Payroll, or financial management processes.
