What you will do

• Perform sterility, bacterial endotoxin, and particulate matter testing in a cleanroom environment.
• Plan sample schedules, manage incubation timelines, and maintain complete sample chain of custody.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and systems.
• Calculate, evaluate, and review testing data; draft and review SOPs and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and special projects for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
• Train and onboard laboratory staff while serving as a technical resource.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Relevant microbiology laboratory experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech, quality control, or clinical settings.
• Experience with sterility testing, endotoxin testing, environmental monitoring, microbial identification, microbial limit testing, or antibiotic assays.
• Knowledge of microbiology principles, laboratory procedures, and regulated standards including ISO 17025, cGMP, cGLP, and A2LA requirements.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom wearing full head-to-toe PPE, stand for extended periods, and routinely handle laboratory equipment and controlled chemicals.

Nice to have

• Experience with Biological Safety Cabinets and cleanroom environments.
• Experience in cGLP- or cGMP-regulated laboratories.
• Master’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or Microbiology and Molecular Cell Sciences.
