Lighting Showroom Sales (Lighting)

What you will do

• Promote and sell residential, small commercial, and connected home lighting products.
• Greet showroom customers and prepare quotes with acceptable gross margins.
• Follow up with customers and convert quotes into orders.
• Enter, bill, monitor, and cancel orders and quotes as needed.
• Coordinate pricing, delivery schedules, shipments, returns, and material promise dates.
• Maintain customer contacts and support supplier promotions, inventory preparation, and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year degree is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, sales, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and multitask, and able to work with urgency.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including walking, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and occasional ladder or warehouse-equipment use.
