What you will do
- Advise the business on technology transactions and a broad range of legal issues.
- Support intellectual property, sales, marketing, patent portfolio management, trademarks, and standards participation.
- Provide legal guidance on business development, M&A, recruiting, and procurement.
- Build legal processes that improve and support a growing business.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Security, IT, People, Engineering, and Operations across a global organization.
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor who enables teams to move quickly and confidently.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree and active membership in at least one state bar.
- 7+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Expertise, or the ability to develop expertise, in technology transactions.
- Experience advising on complex legal and business matters across multiple functions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, curiosity, and collaboration skills.
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology may be required; employment can depend on citizenship, permanent residency, or export-license approval.
