What you will do

• Support preparation, start-up, and commercial manufacturing of Epogen drug substance intermediate in Building 7.
• Operate in Grade 9 through Grade 5 classified cleanrooms and run production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Set up, clean in place, and steam in place EPO production equipment.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, escalate risks, and support equipment testing, commissioning, and qualification.
• Train staff on manufacturing equipment and coordinate improvement projects.
• Review procedures and forms, manage minor deviations, and drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree plus 6 months of manufacturing and operations experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 2 years of manufacturing and operations experience.
• Understanding of biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including media preparation, bioreactors, and related production systems.
• Ability to operate in aseptic Grade 5 cleanroom environments and apply basic chemistry, biology, and physical principles.
• Technical writing, regulatory, and CFR knowledge.
