What you will do
- Evolve, expand, and maintain shared component libraries across iOS, Android, and Web.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers on component APIs, naming, states, variants, and alignment with Figma.
- Define architecture for theming, brand layers, versioning, releases, and team contributions.
- Maintain living documentation with tools such as Storybook and support adoption through pairing, reviews, and migration paths.
- Build accessibility and responsive behavior into shared components.
- Use AI coding agents while retaining ownership of technical decisions, code quality, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a frontend or mobile engineer, including ownership of a design system or shared component library used by multiple teams.
- Strong TypeScript and Angular skills, or comparable expertise in another modern framework combined with a willingness to develop deeply in Angular.
- Hands-on native UI development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose or Swift and SwiftUI; strong expertise in one platform and interest in the other.
- Experience with design tokens and multi-brand theming without forking the system.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design and accessibility standards, with practical verification experience.
- Product mindset toward internal tooling and the ability to build consensus across engineering and design.
