Director, Content Localization - APAC

What you will do

• Develop and execute the APAC localization strategy for dubbing, subtitling, and accessibility assets.
• Lead and mentor Localization Language Leads, managers, and Operations Leads across multiple APAC countries.
• Partner with Content, Production, Marketing, Legal, Public Policy, Finance, and other functions to improve localization workflows.
• Drive standardization, continuous improvement, technology adoption, quality, and operational scalability.
• Manage localization costs, monitor market and union activity, and use competitor insights to inform strategy.
• Represent hirify.global at industry events and present analyses and recommendations to executive audiences.

Requirements

• 15+ years of people and organizational management experience in a global enterprise, ideally in entertainment.
• 10+ years of scaled operations, localization, dubbing, subtitling, and internationalization experience.
• Experience leading and influencing at the executive level, with strong operational and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business analysis, and communicating data to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional APAC language, plus exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel and ability to act as a self-starter, visionary leader, and team builder.
