Localization Operations Intern (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Clean, format, and update translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.
• Triage and route linguistic queries from vendors and internal stakeholders to Language Managers.
• Prepare language quality assurance tasks, scorecards, and vendor feedback reports.
• Conduct cultural and linguistic research to support terminology for new e-commerce features.
• Assist with project setup, file preparation, translation handoffs, status tracking, and schedule maintenance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve localization workflows and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Translation, Localization, Linguistics, Communications, Business Operations, or a related field.
• Comfortable learning new software and AI skills quickly.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Proactive communication skills and willingness to collaborate across time zones and cultural backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Translation Management Systems or computer-assisted translation tools.
