What you will do
- Provide practical and legally appropriate employee relations guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, workplace conflict, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Conduct and document impartial, confidential HR investigations and prepare findings, investigation summaries, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with regional HR Business Partners and Staff Relations teams across Latin America and Canada to ensure culturally nuanced and compliant practices.
- Track and update employee relations cases in the company’s case management system.
- Support process improvements, training, and employee relations best practices.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development teams on HR policy, investigation, and respectful workplace training.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and 2 years of Employee Relations experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Employee Relations experience.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience advising on performance management, disciplinary actions, and involuntary employment terminations.
- Knowledge of employment laws and employee relations practices across Latin America and Canada.
- Experience conducting internal HR investigations and handling complex, confidential matters with sound judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams or WebEx, Workday, and case management systems such as EthicsPoint.
