What you will do
- Lead the resolution of disputes with internal partners and follow issues through to completion.
- Analyze delinquent receivables and customer payment processes to determine effective collection approaches.
- Negotiate customer payments and resolve disputes related to delinquent accounts.
- Identify non-payment trends, assess at-risk customers and partners, and recommend account strategies.
- Improve collections and dispute resolution processes by reducing manual work, enhancing tool usage, and applying automation.
- Conduct regular training for new and existing team members and support team decision-making.
Requirements
- Must work onsite in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico.
- University degree focused on Finance or Economics; an MBA is preferred.
- Typically 3–5 years of experience in Credit & Collections, with Latin America portfolio experience preferred.
- Automation skills and knowledge are required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, problem-solving, analytical, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
- Proficiency with Copilot, Power Query, and intermediate-to-advanced Excel, plus knowledge of collection, dispute management, financial, and risk mitigation processes.
Nice to have
- MBA.
- Experience handling a Latin America portfolio.
- Experience developing and implementing best practices in collections and dispute resolution.
