Salary: $89,207–$133,811 per year

What you will do

  • Design detailed plans for upcoming Naval Aviation Red Team cyber operations with operations staff, planners, operators, analysts, and customer organizations.
  • Support targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and integration of cyber actions throughout the operation lifecycle.
  • Monitor operations to verify objectives are met and lead comprehensive after-action reporting for customers.
  • Gather and analyze information, prepare status and management reports, and maintain operational records.
  • Schedule and document cyber operations according to AIR-RT standard operating procedures and close activities in scheduling systems.
  • Assess schedule compliance and identify reasons for completion shortfalls.

Requirements

  • Current Top-Secret clearance required.
  • At least five years of experience related to the listed responsibilities.
  • General understanding of penetration testing or red-team concepts, including common tools and methodologies.
  • Broad understanding of system and network design fundamentals, strong communication skills, and familiarity with project management principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; six additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense cyber operations or red-team activities.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment frameworks and cyber threat analysis.
