Business Analyst IT - Point of Sales (Retail/POS)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid working with attendance at an office approximately once a month

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Retail and Point of Sales solutions.
• Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and functional specifications for technical teams.
• Identify gaps in existing Retail/POS functionality and contribute to improvement solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams during development, testing, and implementation.
• Prepare configuration guidelines, validate implemented solutions, and support end-user and support-team training.
• Contribute to business transformation and digitalization projects in an international environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Solid experience with Retail and Point of Sales projects.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, business and functional requirements, user stories, and process improvement.
• Fluent English and fluent Italian required.
• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work with business and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Retail/POS solutions, configuration guidelines, or business transformation projects.
