Senior Development Manager (Game Development)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Espoo, Finland office. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to Finland.

What you will do

• Drive delivery for assigned teams and key production processes across all phases of game development.
• Plan project schedules, identify production risks and constraints, and resolve dependency issues.
• Coordinate internal teams, project leads, producers, and external partners such as motion capture and outsourcing studios.
• Support budgeting for internal and external project needs and track budget execution.
• Improve production methods and best practices to increase team efficiency.
• Coach and support Development Managers while contributing to communication across distributed teams.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Senior Development Manager or Senior Producer, including at least one shipped PC or console game.
• Strong project management experience across multiple disciplines in large game productions.
• Experience working with internal teams and external partners, including outsourcing studios, talent, and motion capture studios.
• Experience with production management tools such as Jira and Klash, including workflow setup and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Excel, strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and clear communication abilities.
• Ability to mentor colleagues, collaborate across locations and departments, and work independently with documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with narrative and cinematics pipelines.
• Experience with external partner relations, outsourcing agreements, shoots, and delivery follow-up.
