Operations/Backoffice Analyst (Analista de Operações/Backoffice)

Location: São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil — hybrid. Hybrid work includes time in the office, customer interactions or visits, and work from home; office presence is generally expected during ramp-up or when required by the leader.

What you will do

• Execute and follow up on operational processes involving logistics, card deliveries, chargebacks, and related workflows.
• Map manual processes and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, plus N8N and Google Apps Script, to reduce manual work.
• Analyze operational data and support evidence-based process improvements.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance, Product, and Customer Happiness teams to solve operational problems end to end.
• Document processes and maintain organized records in Notion.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in process analysis, operations, or back-office roles.
• Completed bachelor’s degree; no specific field is required.
• Strong analytical, critical-reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Heavy day-to-day use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar to solve operational problems.
• Ownership mindset, curiosity, and willingness to perform manual work before automating it.
• Ability to connect processes and collaborate across different areas.

Nice to have

• Background in industrial or production engineering, process engineering, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Experience with Mastercard systems.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Gemini, Notion, N8N, or Google Apps Script.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
