What you will do

• Manage the full bookkeeping cycle, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, journals, and reconciliations.
• Perform multi-currency bookkeeping and reconciliations across USD, HKD, AED, and other currencies.
• Record, categorize, and reconcile transactions from Shopify, TikTok, Amazon, and other e-commerce platforms.
• Process credit card expenses, overheads, inventory purchases, deposits, prepayments, and installment payments.
• Reconcile payment gateways and financial accounts, including Wise, PayPal, Stripe, Airwallex, and bank portals.
• Support audit preparation and drive improvements to financial processes while collaborating remotely with colleagues across Asia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally in e-commerce and in a sole-charge or near-sole-charge role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP or HK FRS, including cash and accrual accounting, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and transaction classification.
• QuickBooks proficiency and experience with multi-currency reconciliation.
• Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, IF formulas, Power Query, and data integrity checks.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and AI agent tools.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant.
