What you will do

• Develop and maintain pricing, exposure, and portfolio analytics tools for the treaty reinsurance business.
• Build predictive models, automated reporting solutions, and analytical frameworks for brokers and clients.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques with robust validation and governance.
• Work with brokers and analytics colleagues to identify opportunities for new tools and process improvements.
• Use AI and automation to improve analytical workflows and efficiency.
• Maintain testing, documentation, version control, and model governance standards; support peer reviews and junior colleague development.

Requirements

• Nearly or newly qualified actuary with FIA, ACAS, FCAS, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in general insurance, reinsurance, specialty insurance, or broking analytics.
• Strong programming capability, particularly in Python, plus SQL and experience with large or complex datasets.
• Experience developing tools, models, reporting solutions, or analytical applications for business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of pricing and portfolio analytics, including experience and exposure rating techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, cloud platforms, APIs, application development frameworks, actuarial modeling platforms, or advanced Excel.
• Experience in Property, Marine, Specialty, Aviation, or Cyber reinsurance.
• Interest in emerging technologies, including Generative AI.
