EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and direct hourly, salaried, and management personnel involved in EHS activities.
• Identify complex environmental, health, and safety hazards and establish protection guidelines.
• Ensure completion of EHS training required by regulations and facility objectives.
• Audit EHS programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and local conditions.
• Monitor performance reports, identify trends, alert management to risks, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or another relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• At least five years of EHS experience, including policy compliance and program implementation.
• Ability to identify and mitigate safety, health, and environmental hazards.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, state, local, and other applicable EHS regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
• English proficiency at a pre-advanced level; an advanced level is preferred for top candidates.
