DevOps Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Houston, TX, United States; hybrid work may be available after training for up to two days per week from home, based on position eligibility

What you will do

• Collect system requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of customer-facing products.
• Improve existing tools and processes through scripting and automation.
• Build, deploy, test, and support systems in lab environments and production datacenters.
• Work with IT, Development, and Product Management teams across the business.
• Complete hands-on training and apply new operations, engineering, and development skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with virtualization, scripting and automation, server hardware, or network communications is desired.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, Python, Bash, C/C++, or C# is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.
• Preferred certifications include A+, Server+, Security+, Linux+, Network+, CCNA, and MCSA.
