What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain dimensional data models in BigQuery with dbt for user acquisition, ad monetization, in-app purchases, engagement, and retention metrics.
- Own the semantic layer across BI platforms and AI agent endpoints, including metric definitions, versioning, performance tuning, and data freshness.
- Build the insight stack by connecting verified data assets to Model Context Protocol tools and AI agent workflows.
- Develop automated data quality tests, anomaly monitoring, evaluation suites, and alerting for schema drift and telemetry issues.
- Maintain data catalogs, business glossaries, lineage, metadata, access controls, and PII identification or masking.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, LiveOps, User Acquisition, analysts, and leadership to enable trusted self-service analytics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Advanced Data Analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with dimensional modeling, including Kimball methodology and star or snowflake schemas.
- Production experience with dbt for transformation, testing, documentation, and semantic layer modeling.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data warehouses, preferably Google BigQuery, and proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, data governance, data catalogs, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in mobile gaming, adtech, mobile monetization, user acquisition attribution, or consumer mobile applications.
- Experience with player telemetry, in-game event design, or game analytics metrics.
- Exposure to Model Context Protocol, LLM APIs, or AI agent frameworks.
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Composer, Metabase, Tableau, or Looker.
