What you will do
- Design and implement data models, data marts, and datasets for a Hadoop-based data warehouse and data hub.
- Gather analytical requirements from business and systems subject matter experts.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes across Hadoop, BI systems, databases, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with data architects, senior analysts, and data owners to create shared data solutions and align data strategies.
- Maintain data modeling standards and ETL best practices.
- Support production data models and ETL solutions while preparing analytical datasets and user-friendly star-schema models.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and strong SQL skills.
- Experience implementing large-scale data lakes or data warehouses on public cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala.
- Vietnamese required; the role is based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nice to have
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
- Experience with analytical tools for data discovery, modeling, visualization, and analysis.
- Good English communication skills.
