Data Engineer (Azure)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City or Dong Nai City, Vietnam; shuttle bus transportation is available between Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Transform and load data into Azure Data Lake Storage while ensuring data quality and compliance.
• Develop, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL processes and pipeline performance.
• Implement partitioning and indexing strategies to improve data access.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver business value.
• Design data warehouses, apply data modeling techniques, and document pipeline architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Strong understanding of data loading, indexing, partitioning, and relational database management systems.
• English and Vietnamese language skills are required.
