Principal Software Engineer (iOS)

What you will do

• Drive execution of multiple business plans and software projects while identifying customer and operational needs.
• Decompose product architectures into components and modules, define architectural specifications, and select appropriate patterns.
• Design modular, extensible solutions and MVPs, evaluate trade-offs, and account for disaster recovery requirements.
• Guide coding practices, frameworks, scalability, security, telemetry, high availability, and high performance across the product.
• Develop automation scripts for CI/CD and testing, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Lead defect investigation, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, issue prioritization, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 3 years of software engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree with 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s experience.
• Professional experience developing iOS applications with Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDKs, UIKit, Foundation, Core Graphics, and Core Animation.
• Experience building interfaces with Auto Layout, integrating REST/JSON services, using HTTP or WebSocket communication, and implementing asynchronous and multithreaded programming.
• Experience with data persistence, XCTest unit and UI testing, modular architecture, design patterns, CocoaPods, push notifications, debugging, and iOS deployment processes.
• Experience with analytics and stability tools, CI configuration and test scripts, network traffic debugging, Git-based collaboration, UI/UX prototyping, and JIRA.
• Work is based at the Bentonville, Arkansas location.
