Operations Manager, Payments (Kazakhstan)

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and grow the local fiat business and related day-to-day operations.
• Localise products and support regulatory activities for the Kazakhstan market.
• Collect feedback from users and communities and analyse competitor insights to improve services.
• Build relationships with banks, payment providers, regulators, blockchain communities, and industry associations.
• Develop partnerships with fiat on-ramp providers and KYC vendors.
• Design go-to-market, content, and promotion strategies to increase fiat volumes and lead local business development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of successful experience in business unit leadership, business development, or business growth at a blockchain or crypto company, financial institution, or bank.
• Deep understanding of local communities and the crypto space.
• Fluent Russian and English required.
• Kazakh language proficiency strongly preferred.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, problem-solving, and results-oriented approach.
• Passion for crypto and digital assets.
