TL;DR
Financial Intern (Accounting / Finance) (Accounting/Finance): Preparing financial reports and documentation while supporting automation, SOX controls testing, data analytics, and financial analysis with an accent on hands-on accounting work and process improvement. Focus on analyzing financial data, supporting internal controls, and applying AI and Microsoft Power Platform tools to improve finance processes.
Location: Onsite in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia, five days a week

Financial Services Malaysia provides retail and wholesale financing solutions, extended protection products, and related services for equipment customers and dealers.
What you will do
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Support projects involving processing automation and finance process improvement.
- Participate in internal SOX controls testing.
- Support data analytics and financial analysis activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of business operations and processes through academic projects or internships.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work onsite five days a week in Puchong, Selangor.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
- Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in applying technology to improve productivity and business processes.
