Backend Team Lead - Scanner (Node.js)

What you will do

• Lead execution across multiple workstreams and own sprint planning and delivery quality.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and customers to remove blockers and manage dependencies.
• Design scalable, reliable backend features and contribute hands-on to cloud-based development and code reviews.
• Shape product features from initial concept through production and lead technical decisions for enhancements.
• Coach and mentor engineers, improve team velocity, and identify capability gaps.
• Integrate AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and prompt-driven prototyping into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep Node.js expertise and hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable systems and delivering end-to-end features.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for leading a global team and explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Early adoption of AI technologies and a strong interest in improving developer experience and system performance.

Nice to have

• Experience with React.
• Experience with Python.
