Investment Operations Associate (Asset Management)

Location: Melbourne, Australia, with 2 days in the Melbourne CBD office and 3 days working from home

What you will do

• Review and approve daily unit prices, investor cash flows, and trade and foreign exchange settlements.
• Calculate fund performance and compile fund size, asset allocation, and holdings data for external communications.
• Review investor statements, distribution calculations, and annual AMMA statements.
• Assist investors, internal teams, investment managers, custodians, auditors, and tax agents with queries and requests.
• Make recommendations to the Investment Committee on term deposit placements.
• Support other internal teams to build broader investment industry knowledge.

Requirements

• Entry-level profile with up to two years of work experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including double-entry accounting and investment taxation.
• Analytical, organised, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet regular deadlines.

Nice to have

• Studying towards CA or CPA qualification.
