Counter Sales Representative (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Gresham, Oregon, United States; onsite branch and warehouse work

What you will do

• Assist customers with purchases, orders, returns, and product questions.
• Support electrical distribution sales and develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Restock products and maintain a clean, organized showroom and counter.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, stocking, deliveries, and other warehouse functions.
• Support inside sales and communicate safety or customer-service concerns to the manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Electrical product knowledge, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities, preferred.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, verbal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and use computer-based order entry systems.
• Ability to perform physical branch and warehouse duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional travel to offsite locations.
