What you will do

• Develop artwork for sets, locations, props, characters, visual effects, color schemes, and the overall visual style.
• Create sketches, rough explorations, refined designs, and final paintings across production stages.
• Support early story and visual development as well as the production process.
• Translate the film's creative vision from concept to finished look in collaboration with the Production Designer, Art Director, and creative leadership.
• Present innovative ideas, solve visual problems, and iterate on designs in response to feedback.
• Organize artwork, communicate production concerns, and meet schedules while maintaining artistic quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in drawing, including human and animal anatomy, design, perspective, composition, painting, lighting, and color theory.
• Ability to work across styles ranging from cartoony to highly realistic.
• Expertise in one or more areas: set, location, or props design; character or costume design; special effects design; or color styling.
• Creative problem-solving skills, efficient time management, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Cintiq, with familiarity with 2D or 3D tools helpful.
