VP Manufacturing Quality (Devices)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States; travel required within and outside the state, with 10% minimum and up to 20% business travel.

Salary: $234,000–$351,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the quality assurance strategy and operations for assigned product divisions.
• Coordinate with Corporate Quality and division leadership to maintain compliance with US FDA, EU MDR, cGMP, and other applicable requirements.
• Manage, mentor, train, and develop QA staff while maintaining appropriate team competencies and staffing levels.
• Direct quality activities for new product development and new supplier qualification.
• Develop training programs, approve process and procedural changes, and maintain systems supporting new products and services.
• Coordinate communication with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of QA-related experience in a business environment.
• At least 5 years of people-management experience, including hiring, development, motivation, and direction.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, personal care, or food.
• Intermediate proficiency with relevant computer programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for business purposes.
