Strategic Finance Lead (Biotech)

hirify.global is a Series A biotech company developing organ-scale reversible cryopreservation through perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware.

What you will do

• Build and own long-range financial models, operating forecasts, and scenario plans covering facilities, programs, hiring, and capital needs.
• Partner with the Director of Strategy to evaluate go-to-market strategy for a first-of-its-kind product.
• Support fundraising through financial models, investor materials, diligence, and data-room management.
• Shape capital strategy across venture financing, non-dilutive grants, government awards, and strategic partnerships.
• Own budgeting, vendor spend, cap table administration, 409A coordination, and coordination with external accounting partners.
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for scientists, founders, and investors.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, corporate development, strategic finance, or another investing- or transaction-intensive role.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills, including building models from scratch and developing well-supported assumptions.
• Ability to explain modeling choices, assumptions, estimates, and conclusions clearly.
• Comfort with broad ownership, including budgets, capital decisions, and board-ready analysis.
• Ability to operate as an initially one-person finance function and prioritize high-impact work.
• Interest in the science behind the business and in mission-driven work.
