What you will do

• Design and manage systems and services supporting billing and commercialization for Databricks products.
• Develop pricing primitives for pay-as-you-go plans, commissions, credits, trials, and promotions.
• Build and improve usage ingestion, metering, pricing, payments, reporting, budgeting, and cost-center capabilities.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency, reliability, accuracy, response times, CI/CD, testing, data quality, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
• Apply AI and LLMs to cost insight, prediction, and optimization across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Provide technical leadership for long-term product vision and represent Databricks at academic and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical leadership experience on large projects involving near real-time data processing and distributed service infrastructure.
• Experience building, shipping, and operating reliable distributed services and large-scale data pipelines.
• Ability to lead across functional and organizational boundaries.
• Proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
