Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Intern - Summer 2027

Location: McLean, United States; consistent onsite presence at a firm office and travel to client sites are required.

Compensation: $36–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Execute core functions of the tax internship role.
• Support team objectives and client service delivery.
• Maintain quality standards and accurate work.
• Communicate with firm personnel and clients in person, by telephone, and electronically or in writing.
• Manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects while meeting deadlines.
• Work extended or non-standard hours during peak periods when required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• At least 90 semester credit hours, or the quarter equivalent, completed by the internship start date.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective project management skills and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced client service environment.
• Ability to maintain consistent onsite presence during core business hours, regularly report to the firm office, and travel to client sites with reliable transportation.
