Senior AI Engineer

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI projects, including governance, stakeholder communication, technical reviews, and accountability for outcomes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team while establishing technical standards and quality practices.
• Design and deliver production-grade RAG systems, agentic frameworks, and LLM-powered solutions.
• Evaluate prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, and classical machine learning approaches for different business problems.
• Design evaluation frameworks, metrics, experiments, and quality gates to identify hallucinations, retrieval misses, and instruction-following failures.
• Build scalable inference infrastructure, APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated MLOps/LLMOps processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience in production environments, including 2+ years of direct team leadership or technical management.
• Expert Python proficiency, strong Git practices, and experience with ML/LLM versioning and deployment.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, preferably Azure, plus containerization and orchestration knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, including chunking, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, and evaluation.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar, as well as event-driven architectures, APIs, and microservices.
• Advanced English is required for communication with global teams and client leadership.

Nice to have

• Databricks MLOps, LLM fine-tuning, agentic GenAI systems, infrastructure as code, or security and observability for AI services.
• Classical machine learning experience or open-source contributions.
