Video Control Operator

Location: Miami, FL; 100% onsite

What you will do

• Adjust iris, white balance, black balance, knee control, and other camera settings to ensure high-quality studio pictures.
• Operate robotic cameras manually and adjust pan, tilt, zoom, and related controls.
• Patch cameras and call up color correctors.
• Adjust and color-correct set monitors.
• Operate the lighting board, bring up lighting cues, and maintain robotic cameras.
• Support daily broadcasts, breaking news, and special onsite coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in television production or equivalent work experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in studio production programs with automation and manual operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Cobalt, Telemetrics Remote Camera System, Jita Robotic Boom, Ross Cambotics, and Vinten Robotic Pedestals.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required.
• Visual composition, attention to detail, troubleshooting, multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills.
