Company

hirify.global is an academic research institution conducting interdisciplinary work in mathematical biomedicine and digital endocrinology.

What you will do

  • Conduct original research translating endocrine-function insights into precision medicine applications.
  • Analyse wearable-device and hormonal time-series data to characterise circadian hormone variability in healthy people and patients.
  • Investigate mechanisms behind hormonal rhythm misalignment and disease-related endocrine changes.
  • Develop personalised mathematical models of dynamic responses to stressors, sleep disruption, diagnostic tests, and disease progression.
  • Lead independent computational research projects and contribute to PhD student projects.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, computer scientists, mathematicians, and international research partners.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in scientific programming with Python, Julia, R, and/or MATLAB.
  • Experience with parameter estimation methods and high-performance computing simulations.
  • Experience or knowledge of time-series analysis, network analysis, Bayesian inference, machine learning, and computational simulation.
  • Ability to work with mathematical models formulated using differential equations.
  • Experience with dynamical systems theory and ODE/DDE modelling is desirable.
  • Full-time availability from 1 February 2027 to 31 December 2029 and ability to work in the United Kingdom location framework.

Culture & Benefits
