Test Automation Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web-based SaaS products.
• Perform and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability.
• Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risks and critical test scenarios.
• Investigate, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
• Improve test coverage and reliability, mentor junior SDET team members, and promote QA best practices.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience of 3–5 years in QA, test automation, or SDET roles.
• Experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and the ability to write clear, maintainable test cases and code.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of both Danish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with audit, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
• ISTQB or another QA-related certification.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures.
• Experience contributing to test strategies or quality improvement initiatives.
