Practice Manager (Veterinary)

Location: Onsite veterinary practices in Herriman and Salt Lake City, Utah; Arvada, Denver, and Littleton, Colorado, USA. Some travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage practice operations, policies, procedures, performance, and team schedules.
• Support, mentor, review, and develop paraprofessional staff in collaboration with regional and corporate leadership.
• Coordinate inventory cycle counts, fulfill inventory requests, and manage pharmacy holdings.
• Engage with clients, resolve complaints, and support a compassionate client experience.
• Maintain equipment and clinic conditions while ensuring OSHA, safety, legal, and internal compliance.
• Serve as a PIMS administrative super-user and help staff use practice technology effectively.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a veterinary Practice Manager.
• Experience mentoring and leading others, managing conflict, and supporting team development.
• Strong verbal and written communication, observational, analytical, empathy, and client-service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of a shift and frequently lift 50–70 pounds, with team assistance for heavier loads.

Nice to have

• Completed and current Certified Veterinary Practice Manager certification.
• Ability to meet the qualifications for the CVPM designation.
• Two years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines.
