Lead Real Estate Finance Banker (Business Banking)

Location: Expo Business Park, Romania; hybrid work with a flexible schedule and short-week options.

What you will do

• Execute the commercial real estate finance strategy for Large SME and Mid-Corporate clients with turnover up to EUR 150 million.
• Originate new real estate finance relationships and act as relationship manager for selected clients.
• Promote the full range of banking products and services and work with Regional Directors to use the existing sales platform.
• Manage the overall P&L, risk/return profile, and performance of the Business Banking REF portfolio.
• Support transaction execution, including the review and negotiation of credit agreements, term sheets, legal documentation, and ancillary banking agreements.
• Contribute to local REF policy development and strategic initiatives with Amsterdam-based REF colleagues and local stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as a real estate finance banker with strong client management, origination, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong financing, structuring, and financial analysis experience, including syndicated transactions or club deals.
• Ability to execute transactions under tight deadlines and manage risk, governance, and applicable legal requirements.
• Romanian and English communication skills required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, strong work ethic, and effective teamwork.
