Infrastructure Technician (IT Support)

Location: Perth, Western Australia, with FIFO work at a remote mining site

Salary: AUD 60–80 per hour plus superannuation

What you will do

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support across the mining site.
• Support desktops, laptops, hardware, and end-user environments.
• Troubleshoot networking, communications, wireless, and general infrastructure issues.
• Provide basic server and infrastructure support, including maintenance.
• Work with Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless environments.
• Support operational teams, escalate complex issues, and maintain strong customer service.

Requirements

• Previous FIFO experience is essential.
• Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience.
• Broad knowledge of desktop support, networking, communications, servers, and general infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote mining environment and in hot, challenging site conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience in mining or other remote-site environments.
• Exposure to Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless technologies.
• OT experience.
