System Analyst (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Tbilisi, Georgia; relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Evaluate and implement optimal solutions for assigned product and technical tasks.
• Clarify, detail, and systematize functional and non-functional requirements with business stakeholders.
• Define requirements for new features and enhancements to existing functionality.
• Participate in architecture discussions with architects and development teams.
• Decompose and analyze backlog items and collaborate on complexity estimates.
• Suggest business process improvements to increase efficiency, performance, and reliability.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Systems Architect in an IT company.
• Proficiency with XML and JSON, and understanding of REST, SOAP, and microservices architecture.
• Experience creating ER diagrams and modeling business processes with UML, IDEF, or similar methods.
• Ability to write functional and business requirements and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of software development principles, user interface design, and application integration.
• Hands-on software development experience, database structure documentation, and ability to read TypeScript, Python, or Rust code.

Nice to have

• Experience with database design.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, including clustering, partitioning, and sharding.
• Familiarity with the product technology stack.
